Play as Rhassoul the Fool and Chaga the Katana in this 2.5D arcade fighting prototype. Blends mechanics from many fighting games into a cartoon pixel art style.
Moving a character Along Depth:
Keyboard[ I or M ] or Gamepad [L button or L trigger] makes player character sidestep(dodge) collision
The screen acts as a fence.
Select characters with attack inputs on keyboard(Enter for Chaga and Space for Rhassoul) or use gamepad.
Block is holding Back input during an opponent's attack. Can cancel all attacks into other attacks except for neutral and back/projectile attack.
Dash is double direction input(hold on last input), Back+Back or Forward+Forward, and has 17 frames of invincibility. (X on Gamepad
Attacks are Attack Chains, Links, Areials, Attack+Directional Tilts, dash attacks(hold a direction after dashing and inputting attack) , block attacks, directional combos
Most attacks are implemented with negative edge. This is to setup charged attacks for future updates.
Can Hurt cancel when in hurt animation.
All Cancels cost Will (White bar behind Health Bar)

Movement/Directional Input = WASD Key
Attack = Space Bar Key
Chaga the Katana
Movement/Directional Input = Arrow Keys or /(UP), 7(Left), 8(Down), 9(Right) on Key Pad
Attack:
- Short Atk:J on Keyboard or A on Gamepad
- Mid Atk: K on Keyboard or B on Gamepad
- Long Atk: L on Keyboard of Y on Gamepad
- Each attack is tiered as short, mid, long which refers to the speed of attack and sometimes range of attack
Gamepad Controls
Movement/Directional Input = Left Analog Stick
Attack/Pause Select = Joy Button 0 / Right Bumper/ Right Trigger
Pause = Start button
Unpause = Console home button
Restart scene = select
